This year, 2006 and future looks promising as well, the tourism industry is
booming in Mexico, thanks to good investments coming from abroad, mainly
from the United States, Spain, France and others and also due to our wonderful
natural beaches, that conform nearly 5,000 miles of coasts streching from the Pacific,
Caribean, Gulf of Mexico and the extraordinary Sea of Cortes.
Developments are being planned and executed in many points of interest, mainly in
the Cancun corridor, the so called, Maya Riviera as well as in many different parts of
the Baja California peninsula, in both sides, in the Pacific and also by the Sea of Cortes.
We at LOPEZ & VIANA have developed a network that comprises a corporate attorney,
an accountant specialized in foreign investments, Architects & Civil Engineers to assist anybody
willing to adventuring in this neck of the woods.
Our part in the network is to assist from getting all the project bonds in place to write the COC
all risk policy including all the liabilities for contractors and subcontractors in one single policy. Needless to say, we also insure the hotels, condominiums, time shares, villas, etc.. once they
are completed with state of the art service.
Different from the United States , bonds require a lot of details and day to day hard work, since
each one of the contractors and subs, need to file their financial information and put down physical
collaterals to ensure the lines of credit.
